The Independent review into Australia’s vocational education and training (VET) sector is now accepting public submissions.

The Australian Government launched the review in November to understand how the VET sector can provide Australians with the skills they need to be successful throughout their working lives and provide employers access to the skills they need to support their business growth.

The Hon Steven Joyce, former New Zealand Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment and Minister of Finance, is leading the review and will engage with stakeholders across the country and across sectors to understand how Australia’s VET system can be strengthened.

People wishing to make a submission should read the Terms of Reference. This is a chance to have your say about the future of this important sector.

To make a submission and for more information, visit the vocational education and training review web page.

Submissions close at 11.59pm AEDT Friday 25 January 2019.
