Our commitment

Our websites aim to conform with:

• the Australian Government's Digital Service Standard
• the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 (WCAG 2.2) at level AA.

Text to speech

Some websites managed by PM&C are enabled with ReadSpeaker webReader.

You can listen to content on the page by accessing the Listen toolbar:

1. Select the Listen toolbar button available on each webpage.
2. You will hear the page read out to you.
3. If you can’t hear it, check your sound settings.

Some other webReader functions include Enlarge Text, Text Mode, Translation and Download mp3. You can access these, more functions, settings and help available from the Listen toolbar menu.

Translating and Interpreter Service

If you require a translator, contact us through the Translating and Interpreter Service (TIS) on 131 450.

National Relay Service

If you are d/Deaf or find it hard to hear or speak to hearing people on the phone, you can contact us through the National Relay Service (NRS), then ask for +61 2 6271 5111.

Downloadable documents

Some content on our website is provided in PDF or Microsoft Office formats.

If you are using assistive technology to read PDF documents, we recommend using Adobe Acrobat Reader instead of your web browser’s built in PDF viewer. You can download Adobe Reader for free.
