The Honourable Dr Rosemary Crowley AO

A State Memorial Service for the Honourable Dr Rosemary Crowley AO will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday 22 March 2025 at Elder Hall, University of Adelaide, North Terrace campus, South Australia.

In 1983, Dr Crowley was elected as a Senator for South Australia and was later appointed a Minister in the Keating government. Dr Crowley was appointed Minister for Family Services and Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for the Status of Women. Dr Crowley retired from politics in 2002.

In 2015, Dr Crowley was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia for distinguished service to the Parliament of Australia as a Minister in the Commonwealth Government and Senator representing the people of South Australia, and as an advocate for promoting the status of women.

Family, friends, representatives of organisations and members of the public are welcome to attend the State Memorial Service. Members of the public will be shown to seating in order of arrival until the venue reaches capacity.

Doors will open at 9:30 am. Attendees are kindly requested to be seated by 10:30 am. Ushers will be on hand to assist with seating.
