Where to see The King and Queen in Canberra and Sydney

Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla will travel to Canberra and Sydney during their official visit to Australia from 18 to 23 October.

The public will have the following opportunities to see The King and Queen:

Monday 21 October

12.35 pm: Meet Their Majesties as they make their way to the For Our Country memorial at the Australian War Memorial western grounds and Sculpture Garden.

1.00 pm: Catch a glimpse of Their Majesties as formalities commence at Parliament House with a Ceremonial Welcome at 1.00 pm, followed by an opportunity to meet The King and Queen on the Parliament House forecourt at 2.10 pm.

Tuesday 22 October

4.20 pm: Meet Their Majesties on the Opera House forecourt.

4.50 pm: Catch a glimpse of Their Majesties at the Man O’War Steps as they embark the Admiral Hudson vessel to conduct a review of His Majesty’s Australian Ships Arunta, Gascoyne, Hobart, Warramunga and Yarra, anchored in Sydney Harbour. Watch as the Royal Australian Navy, Royal Australia Air Force and Australian Army conduct a fly-past during the review.
