The National Women’s Alliances Grant Opportunity is open for applications, with up to $10.88 million available.
Under Working for Women: A Strategy for Gender Equality (the Strategy), the Australian Government is increasing funding and offering longer term 5 year funding agreements to strengthen the National Women’s Alliances program.
Grants will be allocated to up to 6 organisations to provide collaborative, intersectional, evidence based gender expertise and strategic advice to Government.
Alliances will focus on elevating the diverse lived experiences of women and bringing together the expertise of the women’s sector and key stakeholders.
Organisations and consortia are encouraged to apply in the open competitive grant round to represent one or more of the following themes and/or diverse groups consistent with the priorities of the Strategy:
- Gender-based violence
- Women’s economic equality and leadership
- First Nations women
- Migrant and refugee and culturally and linguistically diverse women
- Women living in rural, regional and remote areas of Australia
- Women with disability
