The National Campaign

On 20 April 2016, the $30 million national campaign to reduce violence against women and their children was launched by the Minister for Women, the Hon Michaelia Cash, and the Minister for Social Services, the Hon Christian Porter MP, at Parliament House.

The national campaign aims to help generate long-term cultural change and break the cycle of violence by encouraging adults to reflect on their attitudes, and have conversations about respect with young people.
