The King and Queen will travel to Canberra and Sydney as part of their visit program. Information for the public on how to meet and see Their Majesties is provided below. Monday 21 October – Canberra

12:35 pmMeet Their Majesties as they make their way to the For Our Country memorial, at the Australian War Memorial western grounds and Sculpture Garden. 

Where: Australian War Memorial, Treloar Cct, Campbell ACT.

Members of the public should plan to be in place at the Australian War Memorial no later than 11:45 am to avoid road closures and allow for security screening.
1:00 pmCatch a glimpse of Their Majesties as formalities commence with a Ceremonial Welcome at 1.00pm, followed by an opportunity to meet Their Majesties on the Parliament House forecourt at 2.10pm.

Where: Parliament House, Parliament Dr, Canberra ACT.

Members of the public should plan to be in place at Parliament House no later than 12:10 pm to avoid road closures and allow for possible security screening.

Tuesday 22 October – Sydney

4:20 pmMeet Their Majesties on the Opera House forecourt. 

Where: Sydney Opera House, Bennelong Point, Sydney NSW.

The entry point to the Sydney Opera House precinct will open from 3:00pm.
4:50 pmCatch a glimpse of Their Majesties at the Man O'War Steps as they embark the Admiral Hudson vessel to conduct a review of His Majesty's Australian Ships Arunta, Gascoyne, Hobart, Warramunga and Yarra, anchored in Sydney Harbour. Watch as the Royal Australian Navy, Royal Australian Air Force and Australian Army conduct a fly-past during the review.

Where: Sydney Harbour, Sydney NSW.
Vantage points for the fleet review and fly-past: Farm Cove, Royal Botanic Gardens and Mrs Macquarie’s Chair precinct.

Members of the public should plan to be in place at the Sydney Opera House and Harbour foreshore vantage points (Farm Cove, Royal Botanic Gardens and Mrs Macquarie’s Chair precinct) no later than 3:50 pm to avoid road closures.
