Audit and Risk Committee

The role of the Committee is to provide independent advice to the Secretary and Executive on the Department's financial reporting, performance reporting, system of risk oversight and management, and system of internal control.

The Audit and Risk Committee Charter sets out the Committee's objectives, authority, composition and tenure, roles and responsibilities, reporting and administrative arrangements.

The PM&C Audit and Risk Committee was established by the Secretary in accordance with Section 45 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (the PGPA Act) and Section 17 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014 (the PGPA Rule).
