Central Analytics Hub
The Central Analytics Hub is a unit in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet that leads analytics projects using Australian Government data. The Central Analytics Hub is one of five analytical units funded under the Data Integration Partnership for Australia (DIPA).
Central Analytics Hub projects aim to use integrated data to generate insights about complex policy questions in areas of government priority. These include projects focusing on whole-of-government priority policy issues, informing taskforces, policy development and other government processes.
The Central Analytics Hub is demonstrating the benefit of investments made under DIPA in large data sets like the Multi-Agency Data Integration Project (MADIP) and the Business Longitudinal Analysis Data Environment (BLADE). The Central Analytics Hub is also driving cultural change in the use of public data by establishing partnerships with academic researchers and pursuing new data integration projects that will answer questions we have previously been unable to answer.
